Parmesan Crusted Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 2 Tilapia filets
  • 1/2 cup grated parmigiano reggiano (good parmesan)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour 
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 450'. Rinse the tilapia filets, then pat dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt.

2. Combine the parmesan, pecans, nutmeg, and black pepper on a plate.

3. Put the all purpose flour on a plate.

4. Coat the tilapia filets in the flour, then dip in the egg, then coat with the parmesan mixture. Place filets in a baking dish coated with butter, and bake until the coating is a medium golden-brown (15-20 min.)
