Roasted Asparagus


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds medium thick asparagus
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt 
  • Freshly ground black pepper


Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 450'. Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Snap or cut the tough ends from the asparagus. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet. Drizzle a few tablespoons of olive oil over, then season with the salt and pepper to taste. Toss the asparagus, making sure that each spear is coated with olive oil.
2. Bake until the spears are lightly browned and tender, about 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
