Cherry Pie


Makes 1 Pie

Ingredients

2 Nine inch Pie Crusts
5 Cups Frozen Dark Cherries
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour

1. Thaw cherries for 1 hour in a large bowl.

2. In a separate bowl, combine flour and sugar. Pour over cherries and toss to mix well. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Pour mixture into prepared pie plate, and top with the style of crust your prefer. Bake at 425' for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 325' and continue baking for an additional 40-50 minutes. Fruit and juice should be bubbling around the edges. Remove from oven and allow to cool at room temperature for at least 6 hours before serving.
